Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC (Masdar) has named key suppliers and contractors for the world's first large-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) capable of delivering continuous renewable energy.
The battery cabinets are available in 5 different mechanical dimensions, are able to contain various combination of Batteries, up to maximum 63 blocks, connected in series and parallel, with positive, negative and middle point poles and with max DC voltage of 800Vdc.
Batteries should be stored in cool, dry environments with temperatures between 15°C and 25°C (59°F -77°F) and humidity levels below 60%. Extreme temperatures or high humidity can accelerate degradation and reduce overall lifespan.
